Myrtle Beach Foreclosures
Like many other locations the Myrtle Beach area has been hit hard by the downturn in the real estate market. There are hundreds of available foreclosures at any given time. Myrtle Beach luxury homes, oceanfront condos, and vacant land have been hit especially hard by declining prices, causing many owners to let their properties go back to the bank. This in turn has driven pricing way down, in some cases as much as 50-75%! Some of the communities hit the hardest were those being built and developed during the real estate boom in 2005 and 2006. Grande Dunes, Plantation Lakes, Cypress River Plantation, and Waterway Palms Plantation are some of the more well known neighborhoods that have been hit relatively hard by foreclosures.
